Funeral rites for Rubye Louise Kimbrough Aldridge, 77, of Chicago, Ill. and formerly of Winona, were held at Winona Baptist Church at 3 p.m. on Sunday, Jan. 7, 1990, with the Rev. Dr. L.V. Powell officiating.
Mrs. Aldridge, a homemaker, died January 1 at Holy Cross Hospital of Chicago, Ill. She was a member of St. Andrew Temple of Faith, Truth, and Love Baptist Church in Chicago. She was a former active member of Winona Baptist Church and had served as president of the Young Women's Club there.
She was the daughter of the late Robert and Marion Kimbrough, and she was preceded in death by her husband, Otto Aldridge. Because of ill health she moved to Chicago in 1973 to be with her daughters.
Surviviors include four daughters, Frances Bernice Hines, Virginia Lotherine Agins, and Mabel Rose Clark, all of Chicago, and Darlene C. Hayes of Greensboro, N.C.; one son, Otto George Aldridge of Cleveland; one sister, Licinda Blackmon of Chicago, Ill.; one brother, Dell Kimbrough of Columbus; and eight grandchildren.
Burial was in Forrest Hill Cemetery, with Roberts & Sons Mortuary, Inc., of Winona in charge.
Pallbearers were her grandsons, James Hines, Otto Hines, Angelo Clark, Michael Hayes, Gregory Hines, Fred Agins, and Kenneth Aldridge.
