Miss Adams, a resident of Clinton, passed away Saturday, March 23, at Methodist Medical Center in Jackson. Baldwin-Lee Funeral Home in Pearl was in charge of arrangements.
Miss Adams was a native of Conehatta. She was a member of Bay Vista Baptist Church in Biloxi, and was retired from Biloxi High School, where she taught English for 15 years. She had moved from Fort Worth, Texas, where she also taught school.
Miss Adams was a member of the Alpha Delta Kappa Teachers Honorary Sorority, and she was a Sunday School teacher at Bay Vista Baptist Church. In college, she majored in English, with a minor in Bible.
Miss Adams moved to Clinton five years ago, coming from Biloxi.
She is survived by a brother, Aubrey E. Adams of Carthage, and two sisters, Mrs. Evelyn C. Bell of Flowood, and Mrs. Midlred Blackburn of Palm Harbour, Florida.
