Mr. Adams was a native and lifelong resident of Crystal Springs. Mr. Adams graduated high school and attended Ole Miss. He was a retired painting contractor. Mr. Adams was a member of the South Side Assembly of God church in Jackson. He served in the US Navy during WWII and the Korean Conflict.
He is survived by his wife, Mary Jo Yarbrough Adams; sons, Floyd "Bucky" Burns Adams, Jr. and wife Jan of Spanish Fort, Ala.; daughter, Angie Adams Nelan of Madison; sister, Norma Sweeney of Brookhaven; grandchildren, Katie Vannoy, Ashley Marass, Hunter Burns Adams, and Lindsey Nelan; and great grandchild, Emma Grace Vannoy.
