OKLAHOMA CITY - Louise Crawford Adair died Wednesday, March 25, 2009. She was born Aug. 8, 1955, to Mattie and Fred Crawford. She graduated from Woodland High School in 1974. She completed a two-year administrative program at Itawamba Community College. She married James M. Adair on June 10, 1977. They moved to Oklahoma City in August 1982, where she worked at the University of Oklahoma Health and Sciences Center and joined Tabitha Baptist Church. She enjoyed sewing, knitting, cooking and take care of her family.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at New Prospect Baptist Church of Woodland. Pastor Tyrone Orr will officiate. Burial will follow in Houston Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Westbrooks Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

Survivors include her husband, James M. Adair; a daughter, LaToyna Adair-Ragland; a son, Derrick Adair; a grandson, Trevon A. Ragland; two brothers, Wilbert (Dorothy) Crawford and Sam (Idella) Crawford; four sisters, Freddie Jean Higgenbotton, Bernice Higgenbotton. Ruth L. Body and Inez (Ray Charles) Green; her parents-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Marshall Adair.

She was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Lois Crawford.

Visitation will be from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
