ADAMS, Marian Rose
Age 81, born on December 28, 1924, in Owensmouth, Calif., passed away on November 24, 2006, at her home in Roseville. Marian was very active and for seven years run the lunch program at the Maidu Village II in Roseville. She enjoyed many crafts and especially enjoyed bus trips to Reno. She will be remembered for her great love of her family and friends and was loved by all who knew her. Marian is survived by her loving family daughters Alice (David) Robles-Young, Linda (Bill) Mann, Eileen (Dan) Fall, and Lorraine (John) Smith, and sons Esequiel (Tillie) Ortega, Walter (Laura) Ortega, and David (Helen) Ortega. She also leaves behind her sisters Leona Kamen and Betty Corry, brothers Ben Alfonso and Chuck Ontiveros, 19 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren and her faithful companion, her dog Snoopy. She was preceded in death by her husband Irving Quincy Adams and a brother, Leonard Alfonso. Family and friends are invited to a graveside service on Friday, Dec. 8, at 11:00 AM at Newcastle Cemetery, and a reception celebrating Marian's life, also on Friday at 2:00 PM at Maidu Village II , 101 Sterling Ct., Roseville. In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations be made in Marian's name to the American Cancer Society, 800-ACS-2345, or at http:/www.cancer.org.
