Hazel Allene Cox, 81, died Wednesday, Sept. 14, 2005, at St. Francis Hospital in Memphis, Tenn.
She was born Dec. 27, 1923, in Benton County, Miss.
She was a Member of Bluff Springs Baptist Church.
Services will be at 2 p.m. today at Holly Springs Funeral Home with Bro. Leonard Howell, Bro. Jim Buchanan, Bro. Faron Ash and Bro. Larry West officiating. Burial will be in Bluff Springs Baptist Church Cemetery in Ashland.
Survivors include a Son, Earl H. Jordan Jr. and Wife, Glynda, of Plainview, Texas; two Sons, Joe Jordan and Wife, Debbie, of Corinth and Terry Jordan and Wife, Barbara, of Michigan City; a Daughter, Wanda Stanton and Husband, Johnny, of Hickory Flat; two Daughters, Betty Pate and Husband, Ron, of Florence, Ala., and Cindy Childers and Husband, David, of New Albany; three Brothers, Billy Elliott of Ashland; Marion Elliott Jr. of Holly Springs and Roger Elliott of Potts Camp; two Sisters, Alice Velena West of Ashland and Patsy Bolden of Holly Springs; two Step Sons, Lynn Cox and Wife, Georgianna, of Olive Branch, and Larry Cox and Wife, Joan, of Potts Camp; a Step Daughter, Linda Orman and Husband, Gary, of Ripley; a Son In Law, Max Howell of Florence, Ala; 22 Grandchildren and several Great Grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husbands, Earl Jordan Sr. and Leon Cox; a Daughter, Allene Holmes; a Grandson, Kevin Cox; a Son In Law, Henry Mansel; and her Parents, Marion C. Elliott and Bessie Childers Elliott.
