Peggy Jean Birdsong, 44, of Grenada, died Tuesday at Grenada Lake Medical Center.
Mrs. Birdsong was a maintenance employee at Grenada County Courthouse. She was a member of Bethel Baptist Church.
The funeral will be at 2 p.m. Thursday at National Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Larry Livingston, William McDaniel and C.H. Newcomb officiating. Burial will be in Bethel Cemetery in Oxberry.
Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. today at the funeral home.
Mrs. Birdsong was preceded in death by her parents, Claude Lindley and Jewell Lindley; two brothers, D.L. Lindley and John Lindley; and three sisters, Mary Jackson, Ruby Lowery and Janice Lewis.
She is survived by her husband, Gralin Birdsong of Grenada; a son, Stacey Joiner of Greenwood; a daughter, Sonia Woods of Grenada; two brothers, Gerald Lindley and Bill Lindley, both of Oxberry; three sisters, Glenda Coleman of Holcomb, Gloria Simmons of Charleston and Alice Young of Cascilla; two grandchildren; and five step-grandchildren.
Memorials may be sent to the American Cancer Society.
National Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
