|Death: ||Jan. 17, 1887|
Mrs. Harriet B. Fulsom passed to the better land on Monday, the 17th instant. Mrs. Folsom, whose maiden name was Sawin, was born near Des Moines, Iowa, in 1830, consequently was 57 years of age. She received her first stroke of paralysis in April, 1883, since which time she never walked alone. It was thought she received another stroke just before she died, as she became unconscious. She had been living with her son-in-law, Geo. Barlow, for several years. She was interred at what is known as the Barlow burying place. Mr. James Barlow conducted the funeral services. Mrs. Fulsom was a faithful member of the Episcopal church, until death released her from her sorrows and pain.
