ROCKVALE

Funeral services for Mrs. Hannah Adams, who died at her home in San Diego, Calif., Sunday, February 24, were held from the Methodist church in Florence Sunday afternoon with the Rev. J. T. Bainbridge officiating, assisted in the services by Miss Amy Deibert who sang "The Old Rugged Cross" and "The city Four Square," with piano accompaniment by Mrs. J. V. McCandless. Beautiful flowers were from relatives and friends were arranged about the casket. The funeral cortege was escored to the cemetery by many friends. The flowerbearers were Misses Evelyn and Margaret Easton, Mrs. Wilma Adams, Mrs. Allen Morten and Mrs. Clyde Miller, who are granddaughters and nieces of deceased. Pallbearers were Byron Richards, John P. Thomas Sr., Henry Johns, Joseph Esser, Dave Scollick and John Nash. Interment was in the family plot at Lakeside cemetery at Canon City.

Mrs. Hannah Adams, 69, was born August 2, 1865, at Cornwall, England. About 45 years ago she came to Rockvale where she resided with her husband and family until 1918 when accompanied by her husband she moved to San Diego, Calif., where she resided until her death. She is survived by her husband, Robert Adams, and four daughters, Mrs. Cecilia Filiburn of El Paso, Tes.; Mrs. Jessie Richardson, Crested Butte; Mrs. Mable Easton, Florence; Mrs. Anna Easton, Brea, California; and one son, William Adams of Rockvale; her mother, Mrs. Cecilia Allen of Canon City, and one brother, James Allen of Salida.

Her body was accompanied here by her husband and her daughter, Mrs. Anna Easton.

Mrs. Cecelia Filiburn and Mrs. Jessie Richardson, who came here to attend the funeral of the mother, Mrs. Hannah Adams, have returned to their homes at El Paso, Tex., and Crested Butte.
