MEDARYVILLE - Raymond Fredrick Dornhecker, Sr., 80, of Medaryville, a retired Pulaski County farmer, died at 7:10 AM Thursday, Oct. 4, 1990, in Murdock Manor Nursing Home, Lafayette. He was born July 6, 1910, in Blue Island, IL, moving to the rural Francesville community in 1942. He married Martha T. Eydel on Aug. 7, 1931, in Blue Island; she died in 1989.
Mr. Dornhecker was a graduate of Blue Island High School and the Chicago Art Institute. He was employed in graphic arts and was a salesman in Chicago prior to moving to Francesville. He was a member of St. John United Church of Christ, the Medaryville Masonic Lodge and the Pulaski County Soil and Water Conservation District. He also was a charter member of the West Central Corp. school board.
Surviving are a son, Raymond F. Dornhecker, Jr. of Medaryville; and two daughters, Dolores J. Kupka of West Lafayette, and Diane M. Bailey of Elsah, IL. Services at St. John United Church of Christ with burial at the church cemetery.
