Mr. Dornhecker was a graduate of Blue Island High School and the Chicago Art Institute. He was employed in graphic arts and was a salesman in Chicago prior to moving to Francesville. He was a member of St. John United Church of Christ, the Medaryville Masonic Lodge and the Pulaski County Soil and Water Conservation District. He also was a charter member of the West Central Corp. school board.
Surviving are a son, Raymond F. Dornhecker, Jr. of Medaryville; and two daughters, Dolores J. Kupka of West Lafayette, and Diane M. Bailey of Elsah, IL. Services at St. John United Church of Christ with burial at the church cemetery.
