Wednesday morning April 25th, about 10 o'clock the Angel of Death entered the home of Christian Hansen and bore away upon its darkened pinions the spirit of Little Amelia, the 4-months-old daughter. It is these frail ones, these delicate buds of humanity, that are the most sadly missed in our homes and the many friends of the family sincerely sympathize with them in this, their sad hour of trial and bereavement. Funeral services were held at the Lutheran church and the remains interred Friday in the Lutheran cemetery.

On Wednesday morning last little Amelia Hansen, infant daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Christian Hansen, of Westcliffe, after a short illness with pneumonia, gave up its young life and its soul was carried by God's angels to their heavenly home, there to dwell forevermore as one of the gems in His crown. The funeral services were held at the Lutheran church last Friday after which the lifeless little body was tenderly laid to rest in the Lutheran cemetery. Our sympathy is extended to the bereaved family in this their hour of deep sorrow.
