Helen Kerr Ahlers, lifetime Beulah resident, passed away, June 7, 1989. Mrs. AHlers was a member and treasurer of Buelah Community Methodist Church, WOmen's Circle of Beulah Community UNited Methodist Church, Ladies Auxiliary Fraternal Order of Eagles, Goodpasture Hoem Extension Club for 36 years, first treasurer of Beulah Historical SOciety, member of Beulah Belles and the Beulah Hobby Club. Mrs. Ahlers helped publish the book, "From Mace''s Hoel the Way it Was to Beulah the Way it is." Mrs. Ahlers was preceded in death by her first husband, Roscoe Clayton Kerr in Kerr. Survivors include her husbnad, Adolf Ahlers, of the family home; daughters, Losuie (Lyle) Hedlund, Beulah, Donna (George) Abel, Pueblo and Wanda Hahn, Aurora; grandchilcren, Philip Hedlund, Greg (Barbara) Hedlund, Cindy (Alann) Sweeney, Tim (Pam) Abel, Sandy (Mark) Canfield, Scott and Kristen Hahn; three great-grandchildren; brother, Hugh Lee (Ann) Klipfel; sisters, Faye (John) Hadwiger and Fern Hollan and numerous nieces and nephews. The funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday in the Beulah Commuinty United Methodist Church with Rev. Hhugh A. Critchett of the Beulah COmmunity Methodist CHurch officiating. Interment will be in the Buelah Mountain Cemetery. Viewing, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. today. Memorial contributsion may be made to Beulah Community Methodist Church. The family may be ocntacted at the family home.
