She was born December 22, 1931 in Lordsburg, New Mexico, the daughter of Samuel and Pearl (Gayton) Preslar.
She worked for the Department of Economic Security for Arizona. She earned her GED in 1964. She enjoyed crocheting and knitting and was a member of the Rio Verde Roverettes.
Her husband, Ben C. Allen, preceded her in death.
She leaves a son, Ben Allen (Betty), of Cottonwood; daughters, Mickey Klimes (Gary), of Cottonwood, Viriginia Jones (Doug), of Camp Verde and Barbara Morgan (Lynn), of Cottonwood; eight grandchildren; 13 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
A visitation will be held on Thursday, June 3 in the Westcott Funeral Home from 5-7 P.M. A funeral service will be held Friday, June 4 in the funeral home at 11 A.M. Burial will follow in the Valley View Cemetery.
