Vivian May "Betty" Abbott, 81, of Casa Grande, died Feb. 22, 2007 at home.

Visitation will begin at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Desert Sky Baptist Church. The funeral will follow at 11, with the Rev. Don Brackbill officiating. Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery.

Mrs. Abbott was born May 4, 1925 in Cheshire, Ohio, and was a daughter of Eddie and Nellie Little. She worked as office manager in the family business, Abbott's Body Shop and later Abbott Insurance Company. She was a very caring person and always put everyone before herself.

She was very active in organizing Desert Sky Baptist Church and construction of the building.

Survivors include her husband, Lawrence H. "Larry" Abbott Sr.; four sons: Larry Abbott Jr., Gary, Rusty and Randy Abbott, all of Casa Grande; a daughter, Debbie Trotter, of Casa Grande; brother, Danny Little, of Crystal Lake, IL; sister, Jean Ward, of Nettles, CA; 13 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by four brothers: Bob, Jackie, Raymond and Dowl Little; and a sister, Letha Clark.
