Elizabeth Ann Sloan Buck, age 84, of Arkadelphia died Saturday July 26, 2014, in Kingwood, TX. She was born June 18, 1930, in Okolona, AR the daughter of Clay Josiah Sloan and Rose Janette Yancey. She was a member of St. Andrew United Methodist Church where she served as chairman of the nominating committee, and Fisher of Men. Elizabeth also served for many years as Secretary and Treasurer of the Weir Cemetery Association, and worked as a bank teller at Elk Horn Bank in Arkadelphia. She was preceded in death by her husbands Glenn R. Buck and Charles C. Blakley.
Survivors are daughter Charla Garrison and her husband David Garrison, son James C. Blakley and his wife Becky, Step-son Michael Buck; eight grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Services will be Thursday, July 31, at 10:30 a.m. in the Ruggles – Wilcox Chapel with Rev. Bob Sanders officiating. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until service time. Burial will be in the Weir Cemetery near Okolona.
