Mrs. Baker, a resident of Krotz Springs, Louisiana, age 81, died December 26, 2007 at Opelousas General Health System in Opelousas.
She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, grandmother, great and great-great-grandmother. She loved to cook and her family loved her cooking.
She is survived by six sons and four daughters-in-law; one step-son; six daughters and five sons-in-law; one step-daughter; two sisters; one brother; thirty-three grandchildren; thirty-six great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Baker was preceded in death by her husband, Delmer Clayton Baker; her parents, Elmo and Clara Dycus Myers; one son, Paul Piekos; one brother, John Myers; one sister, Joanne Morris; and two grandchildren, Joseph Noel and Lisa Baker.
