Violet Ray Beaty, 74, of Waldron, Arkansas died Monday, May 8, 2000 in a Waldron hospital. She was a homemaker and member of the Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband, Luther Beaty and brother, Louis Kannady. Funeral service was at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, May 10 at Martin Funeral Home Chapel with burial at Square Rock Cemetery in Waldron, AR under the direction of Martin Funeral Home of Waldron. She is survived by one daughter, Barbara Beaty of Waldron, AR; two sisters, Alma Lee Hickman of Page, OK and Louise Hill of Bakersfield, CA; one brother, Carl Kannady of Page, OK; several nieces and nephews.
