NETTIE ALEXANDER
Nettie Alexander, 90, of R. 2, Camby, died at 10:30 p.m. Monday night, at the Methodist Hospital in Indianapolis. She had been in failing health for the past six week.
A native of Brown County, she was born on May 13, 1880, the daughter of Thomas and Elizabeth Ann (Turner) Allender. She was married twice, first to Clarence Allison in 1931 in Columbus. He died Oct. 2, 1961. She remarried in 1963, to George W. Alexander of Bloomington. He died June 25, 1968.
Survivors include, two brothers, Cecil Allender, Nashville Rd., Bloomington, and Dan Allender of Route 2, Camby.
Funeral service was held at 2 p.m. today at the Bond Funeral Home with the Rev. Floyd Allender presiding. Burial was in the Bean Blossom Cemetery.
