Ethel Leora Creech Barber, 76, of Batesville died Sunday in a local hospital. She was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ.
Survivors include her husband, Elvin Barber of the home; seven sons, Gerald Barber and Reggie Barber, both of Hutchinson, Bernis Barber, Boyce Barber and Lannie Barber, all of Batesville, Charles Barber of Jonesboro and William Barber of Clarksville, Tenn.; four daughters, Lois Weakley of Little Rock, Vida Mae Via of North Little Rock, Donna Faye Ramsey of Floral and Sherry Todd of Paragould; three brothers, Hubert Creech of Hutchinson, Herbert Creech of Batesville and Gene Creech of McHue; three sisters, Floy Mohlke of Jamestown, Lois Apple of McHue and Audria Apple of Salado; 24 grandchildren and three great grandchildren.
Funeral services were to begin at 10:30 a.m. today at the Hutchinson Church of Christ with Ed Higginbotham officiating. Burial was to be in the Hutchinson Cemetery under the direction of Davies Batesville Funeral Home.
