Carl M. Allen, 79, died at his home near Cambria on Sunday, Dec. 24, after an illness of one month.
Born on Feb. 17, 1882, he was the son of Scott W. and Sarah (Davids) Allen. On March 30, 1907, he married Susie E. Lipp, who survives.
Other survivors include a son, David J. Allen, of Sedalia, and three grandchildren.
A resident of Clinton county all of his life, he was a farmer.
Burial was in the Kilmore cemetery following services held in Frankfort Tuesday, Dec. 26.
