Jerry L. Allen, 71, of Fort Smith, passed away Sunday, May 6, 2012, in Fort Smith.
He was born May 20, 1940 in Caruthersville, MO.
He was a retired Computer Technician for IBM and a Veteran of the United States Navy.
He was preceded in death by two sons Michael Wayne and Joseph Gerard Allen.
Funeral service will be 11:00 AM Wednesday, May 9, 2012, at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Ken Overturf officiating. Burial will be at Mt. View Cemetery with Military Honors.
He was survived by three sisters Pat Hemphill of Doniphan, MO, Betty Blagg of Carthage, MO and Kathy Morlan of Poplar Bluff, MO and one brother Johnny Allen of Pevely, MO.
Pallbearers will be Dorcy Clegg, Terry Browning, Jerry Whisenhunt, Jim Strobel, Mike Hicks and John Craig.
Honorary pallbearers will be Larry Newton and David Baggett.
