Daughter of David P. and Florence O. Scott Cory. She attended school in St. Maries, and during World War II worked at Boeing Aircraft in Seattle. She moved to Milton-Freewater in 1945 and worked as a waitress, cook and bartender until 1983; she had worked at all of the restaurants in Milton-Freewater but one. She later worked for Rogers Walla Walla Cannery until December of 1984, when the Milton-Freewater and Walla Walla plants consolidated.
She married Floyd "Tex" Adams in 1952 in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. She enjoyed fishing, football, handiwork, craftwork, and her cats. Her husband preceded her in death in 1985.
Mrs. Adams is survived by sister Lillian "Sib" Bafus of Lewiston, Idaho, and numerous nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters.
