Lila Lee Tygart Apple, age 83 of Havana, AR, loving wife of Clyde Apple, passed away Wednesday, November 15, 2000 at St. Mary's Hospital in Russellville, AR. She was born June 15, 1917 at Cedar Creek Community, Yell County, Arkansas to the late Lee and Verna Payne White. She was a member of the Havana United Methodist Church. She was a kind and caring friend to the people whose lives she touched and was a generous and loving mother. Lila was married to Robert Tygart of Belleville for 52 years. He preceded her in death in 1988. She married Clyde Apple of Havana, AR for her remaining 12 years. They lived happily in Havana. She had enjoyed good health for most of her life; however, for her last two years she became a dialysis patient and succumbed to related health issues.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, James H. White and Robert "Toogan" Dale White, and one sister, Jaunita Spivey.

Her survivors include, her husband, Clyde Apple; two sons and daughters-in-law, Robert "Bob" Lee and Betty Tygart of Danville, AR and Paul White and Alice Tygart of Belleville, AR; a step-son, Jody Lee Apple of Clifton Heights, Pennsylvania; a stepdaughter, Lina Marie Eisenhardt of Catskill, NY; her brother, Dean White of Scottsdale, AZ; grandson, Vernon Lee Tygart of Jackson MS; granddaughter, Elizabeth Lambert of Danville; step grandsons, Jonathan White and Benjamin White both of Clifton Heights, PN; step granddaughters, Teshanna Tent and Desiree Tefft both of Catskill, NY; five great-grandchildren and several nephews and nieces.
