| Birth: | Mar. 1, 1910 | | Death: | Sep., 1914 | Antioch News, The De Queen Bee, De Queen, Arkansas, 18 Sep 1914:
The death angel visited the home of Mr. and Mrs. John Armstrong Saturday morning and took from them their little boy John. His sudden death was a shock to the neighborhood. He was taken sick Friday evening and died Saturday morning at 2:45 o'clock. He ate a hearty supper and ran races with his little sister after supper. As he was being dressed to go to bed, he said, "I feel so lazy." And in a little while he was found to be sick, and very soon unconscious. A physician was sent for but could not be found. He was supposed to have been poisoned. He had eaten some winter grapes and supposed to have been poisoned from them. He was 4 years old on March 1. Weep not, loved ones, for he has gone home to rest. The remains were laid to rest in the Gillham cemetery Sunday. We extend our sympathy to the bereaved family. Note: Grave not located as of June 2010. | | | Burial:
