HAROLD COUEY, of Springdale, a former resident of Berryville, was born on Feb. 18, 1930, in Castle, Okla., a son of William Allen and Martha Metilda (Glenn) Couey. He died on Monday, June 11, 2007, in Springdale at the age of 77 years.
On Aug. 13, 1973, Harold was united in marriage with Fannie Pearl Farmer, who survives him of the home. He is also survived by two sons, Allen Couey and wife Judy of Woodland, Utah, Clint Couey and wife Kellie of Kamas, Utah; five daughters, Sandra and husband Louis Boyd of Berryville, Donna Stensby of Springdale, Brenda and husband Loren Sharp of Springdale, Colleen and husband Terry Mattox of Eureka Springs, and Melissa and husband Melvin Sullivan of Heber Springs; one brother, Lloyd Couey of Dog Branch; 25 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, friends and loved ones.

He was preceded in death by his parents, one son and five sisters.
