Beverly Ann Bzdok
April 28, 1936 - January 16, 2014
Beverly Ann Bzdok, 77, of International Falls, MN passed away on Thursday, January 16, 2014 at Rainy Lake Medical Center.

Beverly was born on April 28, 1936 in International Falls. The former Beverly Sjoblom married Archie Bzdok on August 14, 1954.

She worked as a sales clerk, housekeeper, and worked at Northland Tackle for over 30 years.

Beverly was a very kind and caring person. She was the perfect wife, mother, grandmother, and sister, and her home was filled with love. Her family and friends were the world to her.

She grew up in Ericsburg and had great love for the area and all the people she knew. Bev married Archie, the love of her life, and built a home in French Addition. She loved her house and mostly only left it for work and shopping. She and Archie cared for her mom, Ethel, and younger sister Gail, whom she loved to pieces. She was 100% Swedish and was strong, stern, hard-working, and a little old-fashioned.

Bev enjoyed bowling, fishing, reading, gardening, computer games, crossword puzzles and spending time with her friends and family, especially Brent and Lola. She was extremely proud of her 2 sons Danny and David and looked forward to Danny's daily call. Bev kept an eye on the neighborhood and enjoyed scooting around on the golf cart to visit and see what was going on with David and Brent in the garage. At 77 she still worked 3 days a week because she wanted to keep busy and couldn't bear to leave her friends. Bev strongly believed in the lord and said her prayers every night. There are so many more wonderful things to say about Beverly.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Archie Bzdok; brother, Benny Sjoblom; parents, Sven and Ethel Sjoblom; and grandparents, Gustav and Britta Sjoblom and Sigfurd and Agnes Haglund.

Beverly is survived by her sons, David (Ann) Bzdok and Danny Bzdok (Cindy Odell); grandchildren, Jared Bzdok (Anita) and Brent Bzdok; great-grandchild, Lola Hall; brothers, Duane (Tammy) Sjoblom and Allan Esklson; sisters, Gail Shipley and Teri Zahara (Bruce); sisters-in-law Val Sjoblom, Helen Holmestad (Mickey), and Renie Hall; aunt Signe Skolund; and numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews.

Memorial services will be held on Friday, January 24, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at Zion Lutheran Church.

Interment will be at Ericsburg Cemetery at a later date.

Memorials are preferred to the North Star Hospice, Falls Hunger Coalition, the Koochiching County Dialysis Fund, or the donor's choice.
