Larry Ray Goggans, 68 of Star City, died Monday, April 2, 2012 at his home. He was born February 29, 1944 in Lincoln County to Ileen McEntire Goggans Roberts of Star City and the late Ray Goggans. He was a retired millwright at International Paper and a member of Holly Springs Missionary Baptist Church.
Besides his father, he is preceded in death by a sister; Paulette "Polly" Goggans.
Other survivors include his wife; Evelyn Floyd Goggans of Star City, son; Greg Goggans and wife Michelle of Cave Springs, daughter; Cindy Luker and husband David of Star City, 2 sisters; Janice Moore and husband Jimmy of Star City and Judy Thompson and husband Willie of Pine Bluff, 7 grandchildren; Anthony Goggans, Jonathan Goggans, Ella Goggans, Brianna Luker, Kaylea Luker, Landon Luker and Lindsey Luker.
Funeral Services will be at 10:00AM Thursday at Griffin Funeral Chapel. Bro. Bill Berry and Bro. Jeremy Woodall will officiate. Visitation is from 6:00-8:00PM Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial at Best Cemetery.
