Brenda Lee Breeden, 65, of Stanley, died on Thursday, Feb. 9, 2012. She was born on Aug. 26, 1946 in War, W.Va. and was a daughter of the late Elmer Edward Campbell and Mozetta Helen Morse.
Mrs. Breeden woreked as a manager for Skyland Corp. for 18 years. On June 24, 1978, she married Delmer Michael Breeden, who died on Dec. 17, 2006.
She is survived by two daughters, Deborah. B. Taylor and Mary Elisabeth Barnette, both of Stanley; a son Kenneth Franklin Biller of Stanley; four brothers, Kenneth L. Campbell of Colorado, and Jack T., Robert W. and Ernest E. Campbell, all of Stanley; four sisters, Betty E. Homsey of Baltimore, MD., Anette E. Alger of West Virginia, and Stella L. Campbell and Irene F. Jenkins, both of Stanley; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by three brothers, Arthur E., Elmer E. and George Campbell; and four sisters, Mary M. Bailey, Florence E. Campbell, Kathleen P. McCoy and Edith E. Adams.
A funeral service was conducted on Monday, Feb. 13, at the Blue Ridge Pentecostal Church by the Rev. Jack Campbell. Burial was in the Thomas Cemetery on Tanners Ridge in Stanley.
