CANTON — Claire Ann Case, 76, of Dyer Avenue, Canton, died Tuesday, April 21, 2009, at Valerie Manor, Torrington. She was born April 2, 1933, in Collinsville, daughter of the late Earle B. and Emma (Volz) Case and had been a life-long resident of Collinsville.
Ms. Case was a phlebotomist at Hartford Hospital for many years prior to her retirement. She was a member of St. Patrick's Church, Collinsville.
She is survived by two nieces, Debra Sweet and Anne Kaczynski, a nephew, Mark Lucas, all of Torrington, and a great nephew, Kyle Lucas. She was predeceased by her sister, Marguerite Lucas.
Friends may call at the Vincent Funeral Home, 120 Albany Turnpike, Canton, Friday, April 24, 9 to 11 a.m., followed by a Mass of Christian Burial, 11:30 a.m. at St. Patrick's Church, Collinsville. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Collinsville.
