Aged 99, Passed away one Tuesday, August 2, 1983, at High Ridge Health CAre Center. He was born in Huser, WI, on September 3, 1883, and was a lifelong resident. Mr. Baker was a retired Farmer. He was the oldest member of Trinity Lutheran Church of Caledonia. Surviving are his sister Mrs. Johanna Freudenwald with whom he made his home for the past 46 years; sister-in-law, Mrs. Lydia Baker of Racine, nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by four brothers and four sisters. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 4, at 7:30 p.m. at the STROUF-SHEFFIELD FUNERAL HOME, 1001 High St., with Vicar Stephen Saur officiating. Committal services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Friday at Caledonia Memorial Park. Relatives and friends may meet with the family on Thursday at the funeral home from 5:30 p.m. until time of services. The family suggests memorials to Trinity Lutheran Church of Caledonia Building Fund.
