Larry entered this life on July 10, 1948, in Ridgecrest, Calif., born to the late Robert and Norma (King) Davis. He was raised in the Ridgecrest and San Bernardino area. He served his country faithfully in the United States Army during Vietnam, rising to the rank of sergeant. In 1969, he left California to make his home in Miami, Okla. Larry ran a boat dock at Twin Bridges before attending college at N.E.O. and Missouri Southern.
On Oct. 9, 1981, he was united in marriage to Barbara Cunningham and together they shared the last 26 years. In 1992 they moved to Pineville.
Larry has devoted the last eight years to the Methodist ministry. He served as pastor at Newtonia and Wanda and most recently at Washburn and Simsberry Methodist Churches.
