Mrs. Effie Lillian Aaron, 81, of the Mount Cross Road, Danville, VA went to be with her Lord at Roman Eagle Nursing Home where she had been a resident for six years. She had been in declining health for several years.
She was a daughter of the late Charlie Clay Aaron and Ida Clay Aaron. In 1915 she married Jacob Lemon Aaron, who survives. Most of her life had been spent in Pittsylvania County.
She was a member of Forest Lawn Baptist Church.
In addition to her husband she is survived by one daughter, Mrs. Plott of Roxboro, NC, one brother, George H. Aaron of Danville, four sisters, Mrs. Sue A. Turner of Danville, Mrs. Curtis Scearce, Mrs. Nannie Norton and Mrs. Irene Rowland, all of Danville, two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted at Chapel by Dr. Paul W Hodge and the Reverend Lewis Wall.
Interment was in Highland Burial Park in Danville.
