Born October 27, 1915 in Milford, she was the daughter of the late Isaiah and Lottie (Taylor) Puller.
Surviving are 3 daughters, Loretta A. Adley, Serena M. Grannison and Shirley I. Roberts, all of Harrisburg; 7 grandchildren, Maritta Adley (George), Kenneth Adley (Shiela), Danette Roberts (Raymond), Stephanie Folkes (Frank), Angela Hilliard (Rick), Juano Roberts (Brenda) and Otto Banks (Michele); 14 great grandchildren, Noah and Angela Adley, Lita Roberts, Stephen Strawn, China Williams, Shayla Cox, Justin McCarthur, Joseph Scott, Kya Hilliard, Christopher Roberts, Tyrell Roberts, Xavier Banks, Skyler Banks and Amber McCoy.
Mabel was a member of Tabernacle Baptist Church of Harrisburg. She retired from the Department of Public Welfare of the Commonwealth of PA after 27 years of service. Mabel volunteered with the U.S.O. from the 1950's thru the 1970's and with the Red Cross for the Vietnam War families and all military families. She loved to sew. She could make anything. Mabel looked to travel. She was a worldwide traveler.
Funeral services will be private at the request of the family. Interment will be held in Bowling Green, VA.
