Attended Loving High school.

Entered the war in 1942 training at Camp Blanding, Florida, Georgia and North Carolina. Bruce Baker served in Normandy and was a prisoner of war for nine months. He was discharged in 1945.

Awarded GCM, Presidential Citation, Combat Infantry Badge, ETO Ribbons, three Battle Stars.
