Susie Lavin Anaya, 85, of Wheatfields died Jan. 31, 2004, in Scottsdale. She was born in Benson.
She was an honorary Cowbelle, volunteered in various capacities at the Gila County Fair, was a member of the Senior Citizens and a support volunteer for Multiple Sclerosis. Her family was active in rodeo and ropings.
Survivors include her husband, Ramon Anaya; four sons and three daughters-in-law, Paul Lavin of Phoenix, Johnny and Barbara Lavin of Benson, and Frank and Rose Lavin and Joe and Cristie Lavin of Globe; one daughter, Margaret Sanford of Globe; three sister and four brothers; 17 grandchildrene and 20 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be from 9-9:30 a.m. Friday, Feb. 6, at Holy Angels Catholic Church. Rosary will begin at 9:30 a.m. Feb. 6.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. Feb. 6 at Holy Angels Catholic Church. Interment will be in Mountain Breeze Memorial Gardens. Arrangements are under the direction of Miles Funeral Services Globe.
