Joyce Anderson, 74, of Crosbyton passed away Thursday, February 16, 2012, at her residence. Funeral services will be held at 3:00 P.M., Saturday, February 18, 2012, at Church of Christ in Crosbyton, with Robin and Byron Robertson officiating. Burial will follow at Lakeview Cemetery under the care of Adams Funeral Home of Crosbyton.
Visitation will be held at 3 - 7 P.M., Friday, February 17th at Adams Funeral Home of Crosbyton.
Mrs. Anderson was born on February 1, 1938, in Clovis NM, to the late Bob and Odra (Strawn) Turner. She married the love of her life "Bud" Anderson on January 2, 1955 in Santa Rosa NM. She was a very loving wife, mother, grandmother, great grandmother, and friend to many.
She was preceded in death by her two sons, Shane and Danny Joe Anderson, one grandson, Clay Guthrie, and one brother, Robert Allen Turner. Survivors include her husband, "Bud" Anderson of Crosbyton, two daughters, Cindy Guthrie (Danny), Kathy Kirkland (Johnny) both of Post, one son, Billy Anderson (Kelli) of Crosbyton, one sister, Joan Ashenbrainer of Helen, Montana, nine grandchildren, five great grandchildren.
The family would like to thank the staff at Odessey Hospice for their loving care.
