Max Ferguson age 82 of Clyde passed away Saturday, February 03, 2007 at Autumn Care Nursing Home. He was born in Haywood County on August 31, 1924 to the Late Robert Lee and Lela Justice Ferguson. He was a long time tobacco farmer and cattlemen in the Bald Creek Community.
In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by his wife Sarah James Ferguson, one son David Max Ferguson and four brothers and two sisters.
He is survived by a son Kenneth Lee Ferguson and his wife Ginger of Clyde, a daughter Jean Ferguson of Clyde, one brother Wayne Ferguson of Waynesville, one sister Martha Rice of Houston, TX, three grandchildren Nathan Ferguson, Audrey Parker, and Fredrick Davis, and two great grandchildren Sara and Samantha Parker.
Funeral services will be held at 3 PM Monday in the Chapel of Garrett Funerals and Cremations. The family will receive friends from 2 PM until the time of service on Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be held at Dawn Memorial Cemetery.
