She was the wife of 37 years to the late Norman B. Benner who died in 1970.
Born in Royersford, Montgomery County, she was a daughter of the late William and Martha (Kolb) Weaver. She formerly lived 17 years in Glenwood Springs, Colo. and was previously a longtime resident of Blooming Glen. Mrs. Benner had worked as a seamstress for the former Schoenemann Clothing Factory, Souderton and the former H. Dariff & Son Clothing Factory of Dublin. More recently she was employed several years as a dietary aid at Valley View Hospital, Glenwood Springs, Colo.
She was a longtime member of Perkasie Mennonite Church where she was a former Sunday School teacher and an active participant in sewing circle and other activities. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and sewing.
She was predeceased by one daughter , Doris Benner in 1991; two sisters, Verna Keeler and Ruth Reed; and two brothers, David Weaver and Raymond Weaver.
Viewing hour will be Saturday, 1 to 2 p.m. in the chapel of Rockhill Mennonite Community, 3250 State Road, Sellersville. Funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. in the chapel. Interment will be in Perkasie Mennonite Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Perkasie Mennonite Church, 320 W.
