Mrs. Amanda Albright, wife of Peter V. Albright, and a sister of Harry C. and Winfield S. Young, of Columbia, died in the Presbyterian Hospital, Philadelphia, at 1:20 o'clock Thursday morning. Her surviving husband is a veteran of the Civil War, and is in the Soldier's Home at Erie. Her surviving sons are H.D. Albright, an attorney-at-law, and Christopher Albright, a paper-hanger, both of Philadelphia, and Paul Y. Albright, who represents the Scranton Correspondence School in Pittsburg. Mrs. Mary A. wife of Peter V. Albright, died at 1:10 o'clock this morning in the Presbyterian hospital, Philadelphia, from the effects of jaundice. She became ill before Christmas and was confined to the hospital for a period of five weeks. The deceased was about 55 years of age and is survived by her husband the three sons, Haines D. and Clifton, of Philadelphia, and Paul, of Allegheny, Pa. Mrs. Albright was a native of Columbia, being a daughter of the late Benjamin and Sarah Young. The father died from cholera in 1851 and the mother died about two years ago. Harry C. Young, president and manager of the Columbia Telephone company, and Winfield S. Young, of town, are brothers of the deceased. The body will be brought here on Saturday for burial.
