Mrs. Homer Adams
Mrs. Catherine F. Adams, 72, of 305 S. Spruce St., Lititz, died at 12:20 p.m. Saturday at the Moravian Manor, Lititz, after an illness of four months. She had been a guest at the home for the past 18 days.
the widow of Homer Adams, who died in 1953, she was a daughter of the late John C. and Emma Steffy Fleischmann and a lifelong resident of Lititz. She retired in 1971 after 30 years of service with Armstrong World Industries. She was a lifelong member of the Lititz Moravian Church, a member of the Moravian Women's Fellowship and the Lititz Woman's Club. After her retirement she did volunteer work at Moravian Manor and Luther Acres.
Surviving are three children: Flora, wife of Homer E. Martin, of Wayne, N.J.; Ruby, wife of J. Robert Hess, of Lancaster, and Homer R. Adams, of Lititz. Six grandchildren and two brothers, Lester J. Fleischmann, of Lititz, and George S. Fleischmann, of Lancaster, also survive.
