Follansbee - Funeral services for John J. Alley, 82, a former Follansbee resident, will be held Wednesday at 9 a.m. in the James Funeral Home with the Rev. Mr. Duran DuBarr officiating. Burial will follow in Mill Creek Cemetery, Hookstown, Pa. Mr. Alley, a resident of 87 Amsterdam St., Columbus, and a retired employe of the Penn Central Railroad, died Sunday in Grant Hospital, Columbus. His wife, Edith, preceded him in death. He leaves a son, Dr. James Alley of Bolivia, South America; three daughters, Mrs. Lois Fry of Sunnside, Wash., Mrs. Jean Morrow of Vergen, N. Y., and Mary Alice Stam of Euless, Tex.; a brother, Sim of Adams, Ky.; two sisters, Mrs. Mae Peck and Mrs. Susie Wears, both of Columbus; eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
