Robbers who attempted to hold up the Nolan street car Monday night but were frustrated by the interference of Frederick Ammann, whom they killed, are still at liberty. Chief of City Detectives A. H. Miller and Sheriff Tobin announced this morning they were without trace of the hold-up men, who disappeared immediately after the episode.

The only actual clues upon which the officers have to work in addition to descriptions of the robbers furnished by passengers are two coats, a shirt, a handkerchief and a 45-caliber revolver.

The funeral of Frederick Ammann, victim of the hold-up men, was held at 4 o'clock this afternoon from the home of his sister, Mrs. A. Dullnig, 1105 Burleson street.
