Kristina Sue Adams of Damascus, PA, a life long resident of the area, a office manager for Peck's Market, Narrowsburg died Monday, August. 20, 2012. She was 29.


The daughter of the William "Karl" Adams and Cindy Gries Adams, she was born October 19, 1982, Honesdale, PA. Kris was a graduate from Marywood University, Magna Cum Laude with a BA in Interior Architecture Design.


Kris was a Volunteer at Equinunk Overlook Fire Dept, Former Volunteer for Damascus Volunteer Ambulance Corp., Auditor for the Damascus Township, volunteer for Dessin Animal Shelter, Volunteer at Conklin Hill Church.


A Family statement reads: Kris was a amazing, caring and loving daughter, stepsister and granddaughter. She was always involved in giving back to her community. She had great values. She will truly be missed by all."


Survivors include her father: Karl Adams and his wife Penny of Tyler Hill, PA, her mother Cindy Adams of Callicoon, NY, her stepbrother Michael Marienschek, stepsister Katie Marienschek, Paternal grandparents: Bill and Helen Adams, Maternal grandparents: Donna Gries and Harold Wilcox and Walter and Rose Gries. Uncle Dean and Wendy Adams, Great Uncle and Aunt Donald and Betty Wehner. Best friend in the world, Toby Johannes and his two children: Marissa and Joshua. Numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.


Friends are invited to call on Thursday, August 23, 2012 from 2 p.m. to 4 p.m. and 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. at the Rasmussen Funeral Home, 90 Main St., Narrowsburg, NY 12764.


Funeral Service will be held on Friday, August 24, 2012 at 11 a.m. at Damascus Manor United Methodist Church, Damascus, PA Rev. Jean Blackie will officiate.


Burial will follow in Hillside Cemetery, Damascus, PA.


In lieu of Flowers donations can be made in Kristina name to the Equinunk Overlook Vol. Fire Dept.


Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Rasmussen Funeral Home Narrowsburg, NY.
