Albert F. Amato



Albert F. Amato, 59, Juniata, died Wednesday, July 9, 2003, at Altoona Hospital.

He was born Nov. 7, 1943, in Altoona, son of Ralph and Evelyn (Peck) Amato.

Mr. Amato retired from the Altoona City Authority.

He enjoyed golfing, hunting, bowling, bocci, fishing, shooting pool and playing cards.

Mr. Amato was a member of Sinking Valley Country Club, Swiss Rifle Club, VFW Nobel Post, Buccinese Society, Bavarian Aid Society, Newburg Fire Hall, St. Stanislaus Club and Fraternal Order of Eagles.

Surviving are two daughters, mother of daughters, two granddaughters, three sisters and two brothers.

Friends will be received from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 pm Friday at Santella Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 10:30 am, Saturday, July 12, 2003, at the funeral home by the Rev. Ed Eckenrod.

Interment in Greenwood Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be given to the family.
