Ronald J. Adams, 68, of Indianola, Indiana Township, died Thursday, Feb. 18, 2010, in UPMC Presbyterian Hospital, Pittsburgh. Mr. Adams was born to the late John and Irene Tartas Adams and was a lifelong resident of the Valley.

Ronnie served in the Navy. Mr. Adams was the owner and operator of Ronny's Bar in Oakmont for more than 35 years before he retired.

He enjoyed boating, water skiing and visiting gaming casinos.

Survivors include his wife, Joann Ryan Hanus Adams; two sons, Daniel (Darlene) Hanus, of Harmar, and Robert (Marcie) Hanus, of Cochranton; two grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.

Besides his parents, he was also preceded in death by two sons, Ricky and John Hanus; and a sister, Lenore Adams.

At the request of Mr. Adams' family, visitation and services were private.

Burial was in Deer Creek Cemetery, Harmar Township.

Arrangements were handled by the CHARLES B. JARVIE FUNERAL HOME, Cheswick.
