of Mill Hall, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 5, 2014, at the Susque View Nursing Home in Lock Haven.
Born on May 22, 1919, in Mackeyville, she was the daughter of the J. Harold and Mildred G. Archey Ferree.
She married Richard H. Albright in 1941 at the St. Pauls Lutheran Church in Mill Hall. Mr. Albright passed away on Feb. 1, 1979.
Virginia was a 1937 graduate from Lock Haven High School.
She was a life member of the St. Pauls Lutheran Church in Mill Hall.
Virginia was a hard worker. She and her husband owned the Albright's Mill in Mill Hall. She worked at the mill until only a few years ago, when for health reasons, she needed to stop. She enjoyed keeping busy. Virginia was an active member in her church. She was an avid pianist and organist. She was an exceptional cook.
Virginia is survived by her daughter, Rosalie A. Hoffman, of Mill Hall and three grandchildren,
Donna Marie Smith, of Mill Hall,
Richard G. Albright, of Charleston, Tenn.
, and Alicia K. Bowman, of Blanchard.
Also surviving are her eight great-grandchildren, Kyle R. Collins, Blaise A. Collins, Chandler J. Collins, Cade E. Collins, Kaylie R. Albright, Desirae G. Albright, Toby G. Albright, and Aidan M. Mulfinger.
Along with her parents and husband, Virginia was preceded in death by her son, Richard M. Albright; son-in-law, Dennis E. Hoffman; and brother, Theodore Ferree.
Funeral services at the St. Pauls Lutheran Church, 6220 Nittany Valley Drive, Mill Hall, with Pastor Karl Runser officiating.
Interment will follow at Cedar Hill Cemetery, Lamar Township.
