Anton had been living in Banquette,Texas,in the Corpus Christi section,where he was engaged in farming.He was almost 44 years of age,brother of Mr.John Emmel of the Oak Grove Community,and well and favorably known throughout this section,his former home.
Mr.Emmel,a former citizen of this section,passed away in the hospital Monday.The remains were brought here Tuesday for interment.
His death is deeply and sincerely deplored by his friends of this section.
