Mrs. Helen Cimbalista of Riddlesburg died Saturday, September 28 at 2:30 a.m. in the J. C. Blair Memorial Hospital. She had been in failing health for the past several years.
Born June 8, 1910 in Kearney [incorrect], she was a daughter of Nickolas and Elizabeth (Kolodrycik) Lazor. She was married to Joseph Cimbalista who preceded her in death June 11, 1946.
Surviving are her father of Robertsdale, a son, Joseph V. Cimbalista of Linden, N.J. and four grandchildren. Five Brothers and one sister also survive: Nick Lazor, Linden, N.J.; Steve Lazor, Wood; Victor Lazor, Clark, N.J.; Andy Lazor, Defiance; Robert Lazor, Linden, N.J. and Mrs. Mary Lou Bivens of Middletown. Two sisters preceded her in death.
Mrs. Cimbalista was a member of Immaculate Conception Parish, Dudley.
She operated a restaurant and tavern in Defiance for 22 years prior to her death.
Requiem mass will be celebrated Tuesday, October 1 at 9 a.m. from Immaculate Conception Church, Dudley. The Rev. John Neugebauer will be the celebrant and internment will be made in Ave Maria Cemetery, Dudley.
Friends will be received at Masood funeral chapel, Saxton from 7 p.m. Monday until 8:30 a.m. Tuesday.
Recitation of the rosary will be held at 7:30 p.m. this evening at the funeral chapel.
