If we follow several solid sources, the identity of Amanda Anderson becomes clear. We learn that she was born 1824, and died at age 74 y 6 m 9 da [as per p27, v8 of Hazel Stroup's book series on Butler Co OH cemeteries]; Amanda is called the wife of S.D. Anderson in this entry, p27. Next if we follow the accurate detailed info kindly provided by gilliland.net, author ______, this Amanda is denoted as a Gilliland: "Amanda Gilliland. Born on 12 Dec 1824. Amanda died on 22 Jun 1899, she was 74. Amanda first married ______ Anderson. In Feb 1866 when Amanda was 41, she second married Samuel Anderson. They had the following children: i. Frank.
ii. Jennie. [from website linked above]. So Amanda seemed to marry two different Anderson men. Since we seem to find a second Gilliland sister who also married an Anderson it surely was complicated...

So we must return to the info we learned about Sarah Hopkins, wife of Rev. Adam Baird Gilliland, where it was written that three of her daughters and sons in law were buried at Venice Cem. near to her/with her. So it seems that Amanda and Samuel (or the first husband) fulfill one of these slots, so the 3rd daughter puzzle piece, seems to have roots.
