Mr. Lewis Harrison living on the River road opposite the Fair Ground and whose severe illness with heart trouble has been frequently mentioned in the Tribune, died at 11 o'clock Sunday night, October 18th, 1896. He has been in declining health all summer and very bad off for several weeks with the most agonizing suffering. He has been a resident of this city for the past five or six years, coming here from Springfield township, near Porter. He was a man respected for his moral worth and 68 years old at the time of his death. He leaves a widow and eight sons and one daughter as follows; Charles, Jacob, John, Edgar, Henderson, Marion, Andrew, Perry and Mrs. Christine Dasrt to mourne the loss of an affectionate husband and father. His funeral services will be conducted tomorrow at 11 a.m. at Morgan Center by Rev. W. J. Fulton, of Rio Grande, the burial by Undertaker Wetherhoff four miles from Porter near Morgan Center, the funeral cortege leaving here at 7 a.m. The family will have the sympathy of many friends.
